The Tulane Innovation Institute (TUII) will once again partner with the New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW) from Monday, March 11th - Saturday, March 16th, 2024 to bring programming, panels, sessions, summits, pitches, networking, partner events, and more to the city of New Orleans.

What is NOEW?

NOEW unites innovators and visionaries to explore, learn, and connect throughout this impactful week in the spirit of innovation and culture.

For 13 years, New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW) has stood as an anchor gathering for entrepreneurs in and beyond New Orleans, coming together each year for a dynamic week-long experience. Learn more about NOEW.

New this year: 
The inaugural 3rd Coast Venture Summit (3CVS), held on the Tulane University Uptown campus, will place Gulf South startup founders and nationwide investors at the center of a venture collision. This event will be held before the Tulane University New Orleans Book Festival (March 14-16).
 

Tulane University Innovation Institute $50K Demo Day:

In partnership with 3CVS and NOEW, the Tulane University Innovation Institute will host a $50k Demo Day pitch competition during the NOEW 3rd Coast Investor Summit on Thursday, March 14th to showcase promising early-stage companies located in New Orleans, LA. 

At the Demo Day pitch competition, the finalists will pitch their visions to a distinguished panel of judges and investors for the chance to win a $25,000 top prize with second and third-place awards of $15,000 and $10,000 each.

The finalists for this event have already been chosen. To secure their positions in the event, startup founders submitted a video pitch and application to the Green Wave Innovation selection committee, emphasizing the opportunity for their startup to make a societal or commercial impact. Click here to read more about the competition and the finalists.
