Biography
Scott Clark joins the Tulane Innovation Institute with a strong background in institutional advancement, program management, relationship building, and client discovery and engagement. He will lend these skills to his role as Business Development Manager for commercialization efforts at the institute.
Prior to this role, Scott worked in the Office of Advancement at Tulane, where he assisted the Regional Major Gifts team and the School of Liberal Arts before joining the School of Medicine to assist in building and leading a Grateful Patient and Family Philanthropy Program for Tulane health operations. During this time, he also received his MBA from Tulane’s Freeman School of Business, focusing on Strategic Management and Innovation. Scott also holds a bachelor’s degree in Southern Studies from the University of Mississippi. In addition to his professional work at TUII, Scott is passionate about environmental preservation and sustainability, playing blues and folk music, reading, and spending time with his dog, Cooper.
