Shannon Priddy Acks

Shannon Acks is the president of the Priddy Family Foundation. She has managed transformational gifts to Tulane University including, the Robert L. Priddy Innovation Lab (Tulane Innovation Institute) , Trellis (Cowen Institute), Priddy Spark Fund (Tulane Brain Institute), Tulane Center for Brain Health and the National World War II Museum including, the Priddy Family Foundation Freedom Theater, digitization project, and the US Navy Flag memorial. Shannon received a certificate in Business Essentials for Nonprofit Organizations from Wake Forest University, is a dedicated community volunteer, and has served in numerous finance-related roles at the Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain, Charlotte Latin School, and the Women’s Impact Fund. She was on the board of the Alexander Dawson School and currently serves on the board of the Cowen Institute and Wollard International. Shannon enjoys inspiring and supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs with the Carolina Angel Network and the Tulane Innovation Institute. 

Prior to her philanthropic work, Shannon received her BBA and Macc from the University of Georgia and practiced as a certified public accountant (taxation) with Deloitte and Touche in Atlanta, GA.
