Biography
Robert Priddy began his career with Southern Airways while pursuing his education at Tulane University. His long and successful career in the aviation industry includes the founding of Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Florida Gulf Airlines, and ValuJet Airlines (acquired by Southwest Airlines in 2011) and the successful turnaround of the financially troubled, Air Midwest. He has participated in the launch of several start-ups and in 2003, he co-founded a private equity firm, ComVest Partners, specializing in debt and equity investments in middle market companies. Upon retirement from ComVest, Robert and his wife, Kikie, established a family office and formed The Priddy Family Foundation. Mr. Priddy continues to be an active philanthropist, investor, advisor, and director of several companies. He has served on the Board of the Cowen Institute and currently serves on the Board of The National World War II Museum and the TIE Council.
Mr. Priddy is a proud recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor presented by the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations..
