Biography

Terrance Henderson is Managing Director and Chief Counsel, Consumer and Business Finance for Charles Schwab Bank, SSB and Charles Schwab Premiere Bank, SSB providing support for lending, wealth management strategies for high net worth and ultra-high net worth customers, new products and services, community development investments and loans, bank-fintech strategic partnerships, contract and general legal matters. He previously served as Comerica Bank’s Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Personal and Commercial Banking where he managed a team that provided legal support for various business lines and shared corporate services, including Business Banking, Private Banking, Retail Banking, Treasury Management, Commercial Cards, Merchant Services, Energy Lending, Corporate Real Estate, Special Assets and loss mitigation, External Affairs, Enterprise Risk, Compliance and Marketing/Communications.

Terrance currently serves as President of the Southwest Association of Bank Counsel (SWABC), on the Executive Committee of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Board, the Cotton Bowl Foundation Board, and as a coach with the Southlake Under the Lights and Dragon Youth football programs.

As as an adjunct professor for the University of Dallas' MBA program, he taught a course called “Managing the Small Enterprise and has taught courses in financial analysis, banking, law and accounting for the ABA's American Institute of Banking. In addition, he created and taught a quarterly seminar entitled “Contracts, Writing and Negotiating” for the University of Houston's Small Business Development Center at the University of Houston and has provided pro bono legal services as a participant and supporter of the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Project and the Louisiana State Bar Access to Justice program.

Terrance holds a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, an MBA from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of New Orleans.
