Biography
Scott Intagliata grew up in St. Louis, graduated from Tulane University in 1983 with a B.A. in Philosophy, then attending graduate school for English Literature at the University of MO - St. Louis, where he also taught writing and composition. Scott worked as a freelance journalist, taught at both the University of MO – St. Louis and Lindenwood University, and spent 12 years managing and consulting on political campaigns. Since 1997, he has been one of the owners of Unico Inc., a manufacturer of HVAC equipment (www.unicosystem.com). He and his co-owners have grown the company over 1600% in that time. He is a limited partner and advisor at Six Thirty Ventures, a VC fund, where he also serves on the Portfolio Committee and Investment Committee, as well as serving as board observer for five of Six Thirty’s invested companies. He is also an active, operating investor and equity owner in seven other businesses and serves on the board of directors of four different charitable organizations. He and his family live in an historic home in St. Louis’ Central West End.
