Liz Martin-Malikian

Biography

With over 25 years of experience in architecture, education, and nonprofit leadership, Liz Martin-
Malikian is the executive director of N.O.W.: Collaborative Built Futures, a funded passion project that
curates a coalition of future leaders to accelerate the transition to a sustainable built environment. She
has the skills and vision to build a community that leverages its collaboration, collective effort, and
commitment to define, describe, and deliver ideas and actions that take the next steps towards a
connected regenerative future.

Liz is also a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council and a certified Climate Reality
Project leader. She is passionate about creating and fostering equitable and sustainable communities.
She believes that mentorship is a powerful tool to engage and inspire the next generation, and she
coaches executive and higher education leaders, especially in the nonprofit and public research
university sectors, on sustainable leadership, organizational structures, and social impact strategies. As a
former CEO and executive director of The Cosanti Foundation, she advanced the foundation's
organizational structure, educational and outreach goals, including launching the inaugural Cosanti
Medal, recognizing a profound contribution to advancing the field of arcology, or architecture+ ecology.
