Justin Dragna

Originally from New Orleans, Dr. Dragna ventured to Austin in 2006 to earn a PhD in organic chemistry. With over a decade in tech entrepreneurship, he founded EnantioSense, an Austin-based startup specializing in chemistry tech. Licensed from Georgetown University, the venture secured NSF SBIR funding and executed a multifaceted product development cycle. In 2020, Dr. Dragna joined Abitec as R&D Director, managing an ISO9001-certified lab. There, he spearheaded the development and scale-up of specialty chemicals for applications in pharmaceuticals, nutrition, and food. Recently, he returned to his roots, accepting a faculty role in Tulane University's chemistry department.
