Biography
Joshua Sock, CFA has over 20 years of financial service experience in various roles from operational to portfolio management. A 1999 graduate of the A.B Freeman School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree double majoring in Accounting and Finance. Mr. Sock began his career as a Trust Accountant at Mellon Trust in Boston before moving to New York. In New York, he began his buyside career at Stanfield Capital Partners as a hedge fund accountant before moving to the trading desk. In 2007, at the formation, of Solus Alternative Asset Management he joined the investment team specializing in trading various debt instruments including bank loans, high yield bond and illiquid claims. He currently serves as a trader and portfolio manager at Solus, a private investment advisor which specializes in event driven distressed and special situations across various sectors.
