Jeff Emery

Jeff Emery is a leader in the development of novel medical device technologies from concept, through clinical trials and onto full commercialization in orthopedic, cardiovascular, in vitro diagnostic and ocular fields. He has led numerous engineering and scientific teams, primarily in startup environments, to develop novel solutions that have high impact on treatment of diseases. Jeff has expertise in regulatory strategies, mechanism of action for devices, design for manufacturing, and human factors. He has attained multiple US FDA and European and approvals of implants and instruments. Jeff holds over 25 US patents and earned his BS in biomedical engineering from Tulane University (’91), and bioengineering PhD from UC San Diego (1997).
