Biography
Harris focuses his practice on advising emerging growth companies and venture capital funds across the full corporate lifecycle—from formation and early-stage financings to exit transactions. He regularly counsels founders, management teams, and investors on venture capital investments, strategic transactions, corporate governance, and day-to-day legal matters critical to scaling high-growth businesses.
In addition to his work with startups and venture investors, Harris has significant experience representing clients in mergers and acquisitions, including private equity-sponsored and strategic transactions, recapitalizations, and divestitures. He also serves as outside general counsel to a wide range of technology-driven and middle-market companies, offering practical legal and business advice tailored to each stage of growth.
Harris earned both his B.S. and M.S. from Tulane University, where he was a four-year member of the Green Wave football team, playing on the offensive line from 2008 to 2011.
