Biography

Dan is a seasoned entrepreneur with a track record dating back to 1997. As a venture capitalist, he's been an active angel investor and has worked as a Venture Capitalist-in-Residence and Venture Partner at OCV Partners and NGEN Partners, two significant VC funds. Prior to venturing into the investment realm, Dan played a pivotal role in customer acquisition for tech giants like Google, GoToMeeting, Picasa, and FastSpring.

In 2005, Dan co-founded FastSpring, a fintech SaaS firm that rapidly achieved impressive results, growing from $0 to over $120 million in revenue with just $30,000 in funding. This achievement was particularly notable for its remarkable customer service. FastSpring was recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in both the Los Angeles area and North America, achieving high rankings on the Inc 500. Dan's early investment in FastSpring yielded an astounding ROI of over 900X.

Before co-founding FastSpring, Dan held key positions in customer acquisition and advertising at Google. His impressive track record also includes successful ventures with companies like Picasa, GoToMyPC, and GoToMeeting.
