Why Startup Team Mentoring? I'm a domain expert turned first-time founder, which means I came into this with deep subject-matter credibility and a steep learning curve on everything else. I'm actively raising capital, building a technical team, and scaling a product business — and I want to do it right. I chose to build Bisque in New Orleans deliberately, because it's so special to me and I want to contribute to its ecosystem.
I'm looking for mentors who've navigated this stage before — people who can help me think through hard tradeoffs, pressure-test my assumptions, and offer the kind of perspective that only comes from having done it. I'm especially interested in connections around fundraising strategy, team building, and balancing product development with customer growth.
