Ariel Johnson

Biography
Ariel Johnson, PhD, is a dynamic leader with a proven track record in strategy, investor relations, and financial analysis. As Vice President of Strategy and Investor Relations at Endotronix, she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s product and commercial strategy, optimizing clinical and go-to-market operations, and leading efforts that culminated in a $675M acquisition by Edwards Lifesciences. Before Endotronix, Dr. Johnson was an executive at UnitedHealth Group, where she helped lead efforts in the development of healthcare products related to 10 of the highest cost areas of healthcare. She also held roles at several other companies where she helped raise both public and venture rounds of financing as a Research Analyst for Piper Jaffray and a Director of Marketing for Endotronix, raising over $280M in proceeds. She holds a Ph.D. in Oral Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, an M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, and a B.S. and B.A. in Chemistry, Biology, and Physiology from the University of Minnesota.
Ariel Johnson is working with Chad Roy, MSPH, PhD, the Vice Chair for Research at the John W. Deming Department of Medicine in the Tulane School of Medicine, the Associate Dean for Research, a Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, and a core scientist at the Tulane National Primate Research Center to bring an enhanced surgical irrigant that is based on a patented novel molecule to market.
