The 4th annual Tulane Research, Innovation, and Creativity Summit (TRICS) will be held on Tulane University’s uptown campus in the Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse. The event will showcase the breadth and depth of research, innovation, and creativity from disciplines, departments, units, and schools across Tulane University. Graduate students, undergraduate students, trainees (postdocs, residents, and fellows), faculty, and research staff will present their research, scholarship, and achievements. TRICS will also include networking events, posters, pitch competitions, and presentations.

Open Medical Innovation Challenge (OPEN MIC) night is a partnership between The Tulane University Innovation Institute and Tulane’s School of Medicine, John W. Deming Department of Medicine. We seek applicants with innovative ideas for addressing various human health and wellness challenges.  Submit your idea today or save the date to join us to cheer on the finalists.

Participating faculty will have 3 minutes to present their research to colleagues, ending with an “ask” about opportunities for collaboration. Entrepreneur Faculty Development

This workshop aims to equip educators with strategies and resources to incorporate entrepreneurship education into their curriculum through interactive sessions, hands-on exercises, and peer collaboration. The program emphasizes developing entrepreneurial mindsets across various disciplines, utilizing ecosystems to support student success, and creating engaging, impactful syllabi. Guest speakers and facilitators with expertise in entrepreneurship will share practical insights to inspire innovative teaching methods. Participants will receive a $1,000 stipend for their participation and for successfully (re)designing a syllabus for a course offered in the 2026-2027 academic year.
