Biography
As the Program Director of Commercialization at the Tulane Innovation Institute, Jillian leverages a wealth of experience in project management, cross-sector coalition building, and strategic programming to drive the Institute’s Commercialization pillar. Jillian has a proven track record of managing complex projects and partnerships. Some key projects include securing $5M from JPMorgan Chase for a collaborative public-private equity initiative supporting Black and Latinx women in early education and orchestrating a 20-year $21M annual Early Care and Education millage for families and children in New Orleans, the first of its kind in Louisiana. Transferring this breadth of experience into her current role, Jillian excels in guiding early-stage commercialization efforts and innovators on their entrepreneurial journeys and is committed to developing and implementing impactful programs, tracking progress, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of Tulane's commercialization efforts. Jillian is a Northern Virginia native who has been proud to call New Orleans home for the past 10 years. When she's not working on Tulane's commercialization programs, you can catch her dancing in parades with the NOLA Cherry Bombs during Mardi Gras season.
