BioPhoundry is a drug discovery and cell-free bio-manufacturing venture. Our cell-free platform harnesses the power of bacteria protein synthesis machinery to produce custom bacteriophage at clinical scales, on-demand. Bacteriophage, or "phage," are viruses that infect and kill bacteria in a highly targeted manner. Phage therapy is a burgeoning form of personalized medicine to treat recalcitrant antibiotic-resistant infections. TRL ~3. 1 PCT filed.
