Jonathan Rich

Jonathan Rich has dedicated over three decades of his career to serving the healthcare and consumer industries. Currently, in his role as CEO of Sophia Advisors, and previously as a consultant and banker, he has provided invaluable support to private and public emerging growth companies. His expertise lies in preparing materials for market positioning, financial modeling, branding, and operational strategies to facilitate successful capital formation initiatives.

Jonathan's contributions have played a pivotal role in raising over $6 billion in capital from financial and strategic investors for more than 500 unique companies in these sectors. Many of these companies have gone on to achieve multi-billion-dollar valuations or have been acquired.

In addition to his role at Sophia Advisors, Jonathan serves as a Venture Partner for Erez Capital, a prominent AI and machine learning-focused venture capital firm based in Boston. Within this capacity, he actively participates in the medtech committee, contributing to the evaluation and due diligence of potential investment opportunities.

Furthermore, Jonathan provides his expertise as an advisor to Brandjectory, a consumer products platform. Here, he offers guidance to young consumer products companies, aiding them in positioning themselves effectively and pursuing capital formation strategies.

Beyond his professional commitments, Jonathan is deeply engaged in the non-profit sector. He serves on the boards of three non-profit organizations, where he also chairs the finance and audit committees. Additionally, he generously volunteers his time as a mentor for America Needs You (ANY), offering guidance and support to first-generation college students hailing from socially or economically challenged backgrounds.
