Michael (Mike) Acks

Michael Acks began his career with Deloitte & Touche after graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1989.  He left Deloitte to help start ValuJet Airlines in 1993 as the Vice-President of Finance/Controller.  Mike left ValuJet after the merger with AirTran Airlines in 1998 to be President of RMC Capital LLC, a family investment office.  RMC participated in the launch of several start-ups, including Auto America, MGC Communications, BankServ, Purchase Pro, Dolphin Search, Microsulis and others.  Mike currently serves on the board of directors at Alana Healthcare, Wollard Industries and The Clydeside Distillery.  He serves as secretary of the Priddy Family Foundation and also as board observer for several other small, private companies.
