Tulane Innovation Institute Launches Startup Clinic to Support Local Entrepreneurs with Tulane University Student Assistance
The Tulane University Innovation Institute is excited to announce the launch of the newly established Startup Clinic. This initiative is designed to help local entrepreneurs in the New Orleans area refine their business models, enhance marketing strategies, and access essential legal and financial support from Tulane University students. The Startup Clinic provides free tools and services to local ventures at any stage of development and is now accepting applications from New Orleans-based business owners. The application round will close on October 13, 2024.
The first student cohort includes Alejandra Castillo from Tulane School of Law, Sam Cohen, Audrey Portillo Recinos, Emma Spink from A.B. Freeman School of Business, and Claudia Epsha and Mia Le from the School of Liberal Arts.
Services offered include:
• Legal Services: Entity development, contract drafting, insurance advice, ADA compliance, and real estate issue management.
• Financial and Accounting Services: Financial guidance, transaction management, and customized organizational tools.
• Marketing Services: Brand/logo design, market research, and marketing strategy support.
• Data Analysis and Technical Development Services: Programming, data visualization, and website design.
