Levisonics is re-imagining the coagulation analysis with its “Acoustic Tweezing Coagulation Analyzer." We are developing a safer, more comprehensive and convenient blood coagulation analyzer that utilizes 100x less blood sample collected from a finger prick and provides at least 2x diagnostic information compared to existing assays. Doctors need to rely on blood coagulation tests to determine the bleeding or clotting risks in their patients, but the current coagulation tests are not suitable for use in pediatric and vulnerable patients due to the amount of blood necessary for the multiple tests necessary for accurate diagnosis. We aim to solve this, using our innovative acoustic levitation-based platform technology that combines the capabilities of the current gold standard laboratory tests and the hospital point-of-care global viscoelastic tests, to provide more comprehensive blood coagulation analysis and uses only a small sample of blood (~6 μL drop per test), which can be conveniently collected via finger prick, unlike the current tests that require blood sample collected via venous puncture (>2ml).
