Arthrotech's mission is to provide advanced tools for vector biology and to find innovative solutions that reduce the use of animals and animal products in the field. The initial product is a plant-based meal for rearing Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. The solution allows companies that rear mosquitoes to remove animal blood products and related biological and ethical concerns from their workflow without impacting their bottom line.
Why Startup Team Mentoring? "I am seeking mentoring because I believe that this plant-based diet, though there is a niche market for it, does have a market and has some interesting potential for knock-on businesses/revenue streams. I do not have any business training, so I would like to learn as much as I can from knowledgeable individuals."
