Joe Wagner, MS

Joe is an AI Fellow at the Tulane Innovation Institute (TUII), where he helps bridge emerging AI research with real-world applications across startups and university initiatives. He works directly with founders and researchers to scope, prototype, and deploy AI-driven solutions.

A New Orleans native, Joe earned both his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Tulane University, studying Physics and Computer Science before specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

His background includes research in reinforcement learning within real-world environments, with a focus on developing ethical and responsible AI systems. In his current role, Joe collaborates across teams to bring early-stage ideas from concept to implementation.
