Biography
Versé Shom is a Professor of Practice and the Program Director of Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (SISE) at Tulane University’s School of Architecture and the Built Environment. He advances innovation at the intersection of African and diaspora knowledge systems, community transformation, and youth entrepreneurship, with expertise in systems thinking, design-led approaches, and social impact strategy. He leads initiatives that reimagine education and cultural sustainability while strengthening entrepreneurship education for diverse communities. As a faculty innovator, he drives cross-disciplinary collaboration to help position Tulane as a center for innovation and entrepreneurial leadership.
