The Idea Bank allows you to submit a description of your business or idea and set up a 1:1 business consultation with the Tulane Innovation Institute staff. If you are unsure which Innovation Institute program or resource is most appropriate for your business, this is a great place to start.

The Idea Bank is open to entrepreneurs from the Tulane community and the Greater New Orleans area. This includes Tulane students, staff, faculty, and alumni, as well as any entrepreneur looking to grow their business in New Orleans. 

The Tulane Innovation Institute focuses on supporting scalable startups—ventures that have the potential to grow beyond one founder, city, or campus. However, we welcome all ideas and can connect you with the right resources, even if your venture is in the early stages or doesn't fit into our formal programs.

We aim to reply within 48 hours. During periods of high activity (such as New Orleans Entrepreneur Week) or during the holiday season, responses may take longer.

The Idea Bank is a service offered at no cost!

We treat all Idea Bank submissions as confidential. When you meet with our team, you can also feel comfortable describing your business, customer, and idea without needing to reveal proprietary details or your “secret sauce.”
